Hello…and a very warm welcome to you…I’m Will Thornton writer of Are We There Yet? and creator of this site to bring your attention to a problem in our driving world that most drivers just choose to ignore….

….On December 21st, 2003 I lost my only son, Merlyn, and my nephew, Clayton in November 2019, to pointless crashes caused by some unknown driver choosing to ignore the risk they created that took their young lives. I see the same choices on our roads every day—while I teach driving, and while I drive.

I finally said to myself, “Enough is enough.”

I felt it was time that drivers know the truth (about risk taking) and be given practical tools to protect themselves. So, I dug into the data, did the science, got the real stories—and I wrote this book to change what happens next and found….
